We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Walton Holymoorside Junior Band — open to any pupil in school who can play an instrument! The group will rehearse on Wednesdays at lunchtime (12.30pm) with our tutor Miss Daryl Sharpe, who many of you will know as the visiting accredited strings teacher at Walton Holymoorside.
🌟 What We’ll Be Working Towards
The band will be preparing for a festive performance at the school’s Coffee and Carols event — a brilliant chance to perform and spread some holiday cheer!

Day/Time: Wednesdays, 12.30pm
Tutor: Miss Daryl Sharpe
Room: To be confirmed (update coming soon)
What to bring: Your instrument — don’t forget it on Wednesdays!
Lunch: Please have a first sitting lunch. If you’re unsure, ask your class teacher.

The Walton Holymoorside Junior Band is free of charge for all pupils at Walton Holymoorside School.This group is a satellite centre activity from the Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire Music Centre (CNEDMC), and we’re delighted to offer it at no cost to families.
