Have you ever wondered what it's like to play in an orchestra? Now's your chance!
We're inviting all young cellists to join us for a FREE Cello Taster Session with Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire Music Centre (CNEDMC) on Saturday 19th September. Come along, meet other young musicians and experience the fun of making music together in our friendly Saturday morning beginner String Orchestra.
Our String Orchestra is designed for developing players. Whether you've only recently started learning and can play a few notes, or you've been playing a little longer and are ready to experience ensemble playing, we'd love to welcome you.
You'll receive plenty of support from String Orchestra conductor Daryl Sharpe and cello tutor Jonny Ingall, who will be there throughout the rehearsal to support all our cello players.

🎻What to bring: Your cello (plus a little spending money if you'd like a visit to the tuck shop!)

If you'd like to have a look at the music before the rehearsal, just let us know and we'll send it over. If you'd rather sight-read on the day, that's absolutely fine too!

Our rehearsals are fun, relaxed and supportive, with everyone encouraged to learn at their own pace.
